Some evenings don’t rush the moment, they settle into it. From the youngest enjoying the jam to those who have carried the blues with them for years, everyone seemed to find their place in the music, connected by a rhythm that asked nothing more than listening. On June 25, 2026, the Blues arrived gently and stayed late, weaving together musicians, listeners, and stories until the night itself felt alive.
The evening opened with familiar faces and steady hands. Robin, Marc, Craig, Sam Daulong and Phil stepped onto the stage first, grounding the room with a confident opening set. Their sound felt like an invitation, an unspoken reminder that this night was about connection as much as it was about music.

Outside, the aroma of fresh tacos drifted through the air as Taquero Mucho served up plates that carried more than bold seasoning—they carried care. The chicken tacos, rich with flavor, tasted like love and patience, warm and satisfying in a way that lingered between bites. People gathered with plates in hand, savoring each moment as easily as each note, conversations flowing while the blues began to shape the night.
As the music moved forward, Briar Adams, Anthony Pacheco and Steve Cross took the stage, carrying the rhythm with ease. Their collaboration flowed naturally, signaling what the evening would become: a shared space where musicians listened closely to one another and would build something together.
🎤Soon, I felt the energy deepen. Tina Baker’s vocals joined forces with Ty Baker, Jacee Harvey, Anthony Pacheco, and Sam Daulong, and the room seemed to draw itself inward. The sound grew fuller and warmer, pulling the audience closer and softening everything beyond the music. What followed didn’t feel like separate performances at all—it felt like a conversation unfolding between instruments, each voice listening and responding in real time.

Bobby Champion and Kevin Crosson, joined by the drummer, introduced a fresh pulse that kept the momentum alive. Later, Kevin returned alongside Julian, shifting the mood into something softer and more intimate. The crowd leaned in, conversations faded, and the room listened.
One of the most meaningful moments of the night came when the Blevins family joined Leon Carrasco and Briar Adams. It was a reminder that the blues are often passed hand to hand, note to note, rooted in family, trust, and shared history. Maria Watson followed, adding her voice and presence as the night continued to unfold.
🎸As the evening grew richer, Leon, Adrian, and Vito Ochoa stepped into the spotlight alongside another guitarist, filling the space with layered sound. Guitars sang, drums drove the rhythm, and vocals rose as the audience gathered closer to the stage. The energy was electric, alive in a way only live music can be.

The night continued with playful intensity as Sam joined in, his harmonica weaving through the sound in spirited duels that brought smiles and cheers from the crowd. Each exchange felt spontaneous and joyful, a reminder that the best moments can’t be rehearsed.
To close the night, Robin returned to the stage alongside Leon, Briar, Craig, Ethun, and Sam. Together, they created a final collaboration that felt like a full circle—musicians listening, responding, and building something larger than themselves. There was no rush to end it. The music lingered, and so did the feeling.
🎶
This wasn’t just a blues jam. It was a night shaped by trust, talent, and community. A reminder that when people gather with open ears and open hearts, the music does more than fill the room, it binds everyone in it.
